This dish is one of my favorites to make and serve. It is delicious, versatile, flavorful and healthful!

All you need to do is prep and roast the Brussels sprouts in the oven, toss them in an easy-to-make bang bang sauce (instructions below), garnish and serve! That’s all; now you can enjoy Delish Bang Bang Brussels too!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Brussels sprouts are high in nutrients, fiber and Vitamin C. They are also rich in antioxidants and Vitamin K.
  • It is so versatile. These delish bang bang Brussels can be served as a main dish with rice or Pad Thai noodles or as an Asian style appetizer, which is how I like to serve it.
  • It is vegan, vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free!

Key Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Brussels Sprouts: You can buy them on or off the stalk. Look for bright green sprouts without any signs of dulling or wilting. You will need to trim and half them before roasting.
  • Avocado Oil: to coat the Brussels sprouts before roasting them in the oven and to make the bang bang sauce.
  • Garlic: to add savory flavor to the bang bang sauce.  I use finely minced garlic.
  • Red Chili Flakes: to add “bang” to the sauce. You may adjust the spiciness to your taste and preference.
  • Coco Aminos: to add sweetness to the sauce.
  • Sesame Seeds: for garnish and to add nutty, toasty flavor.
  • Toasted Sesame Oil (optional): to drizzle before serving and amp up the toasty flavor.
  • Parsley or Cilantro: for garnish and to add a refreshing flavor.

How to Make These Delish Bang Bang Brussels

Start by prepping the Brussels sprouts. You will need to trim them and cut them in half. If they are really big, I recommend quartering them.

Next, coat them in avocado oil, arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 25 minutes at 400°F.

While the Brussels sprouts roast, prepare the bang bang sauce. It is SUPER easy to make. All you need to do is sauté the garlic and red chili flakes in avocado oil and then add the coconut aminos.

Finally, mix the roasted Brussels sprouts with the bang bang sauce, garnish and enjoy!

Tips for Making This Dish Perfectly

  • Arrange the Brussels sprouts evenly in a single layer on a baking sheet and make sure they do not overlap.
  • Toss the Brussels sprouts half-way through the roasting time to ensure they roast on both sides.
  • Remember to adjust the spiciness to your liking. Even a pinch of red chili flakes can make these Brussels pretty “banging”.
